More lovely dresses.........

I can't help it but I have been looking at the wonderful dresses that are out there. They are romantic fantasy clothing. I can't imagine getting to wear them but then people who can afford them probably go places that they can indulge. I dont know what the first dress is designed for, I have a feeling its a wedding because of the roses. She is holding them........I was just looking at the bead work on the dress and how beautiful it was

The next one is Irish Lace. Hand made.

Maybe a couple of Eastern beauties............have you ever Googled Sari's or Abaya's oooh boy. I wish I could wear them.I love the head gear.

The women are so beautiful with their dusky skin and huge eyes. They know how to show it off too.

If I were young again and in good shape, I used to have a decent figure.........then what fun to try these on. I do not envy those who have the places to wear them because that's not and never would be me.....but I do love clothes and I probably would buy them just to look at (smile)

I love glitter and Fantasy, fairies and all of that. So Let me see what I can find for Pink Saturday.




Sugar and spice and everything nice......that's what little girls are made of.
Not all girls like pink and glitter, not all girls like frills and ballet. I dont think I always did. Not until the computer age when the images that we can now find were available. So I enjoy finding those images and this is somewhere to share them.

Pretty bedrooms.............

I have found some wonderful bedrooms on the web and collected them in my pictures. I would like to share a few here. When I was a child I read a story about a girl. She went to stay with an aunt and I don't remember the circumstances now except something had happened to her parents. Well her bedroom at her aunts was pink rosebuds on the wallpaper and white coverlets with rose buds. I always wanted a room like that. This room is an adult version of that maybe? Or maybe this one? I know, most of these are pink. I love that quiet pale pink To me a bedroom needs to be calm and peaceful and so most of the colours I choose are muted colours. This one is really muted and a bit fancy for me, but still I could be very comfortable here. More rosebuds I can not imagine it being very practical but a white bedroom. How sweet it is.......... Especially with a deep grey or a lavender background Or beige although it reminds me of stormy skys and winter mornings. I have some other colour selections that I will do in another post. I especially love the pale blue and greens.......but that is for another day. Sweet dreams. Linking to No Minimalist here Open House Thursday

Pillow Cases...................

I have for a long time collected old (vintage) pillow cases. They are so soft for one thing. Nothing like what you get today. I like to starch them so they look crisp and cool but they are still so soft. The old linens have worn to perfection.



I have some really nice ones and some OK ones but all of them were done with love by someone. I also love those edged with lace. I prefer those to actually use.
