It's the blues...........

I was looking for things that are beautiful and blue............I found that pink was easier. Yet blue is one of my favourite colours. It was just harder work to find the things I had hoped for. Here are some lovely gowns and things.......see what you think.

Well naturally this is just a taste......it was harder than I expected but I am please with these beauties. I should look at more flowers next time.

Pink is a soothing and calm colour when its pale. Perfect for a bedroom

Diamonds............

I was just commenting on a blog that had a caption that said "I would rather have flowers on my table than diamonds on my neck" ..........Not me. I love diamonds. Not for their worth, I wish they were worthless so that I could wear them on silver strands in my hair or sew them into fabric to wear. They are so pure, so lovely. A rainbow captured in a drop of dew frozen for all time. Pure as a snowflake and as clear as a cloudless sky. It reflects everything around it in a prism of rainbow colours. Diamonds make lovely jewelry and it would not matter if they cost one dollar or a million bucks they would still be the perfect gem. I never liked them really until I saw the crown jewels in the Tower of London. Then I saw it...........and wow. I was in love. The Cullinan diamond set in the scepter of England. The Cullinan diamond is the largest rough gem-quality diamond ever found, at 3,105 cts. The diamond was presented to Great Britain’s King Edward VII who entrusted the cutting of the gem to the Asscher brothers. In 1908, Joseph Asscher cut the stone into 9 large stones and 42 small ones. Flowers will fade and die but ..... Diamonds are forever.............

I have found these pictures on the web over time and saved them for a pretty post. Oh the flowers are in the China on this one This one looks like you would want to sip the tea and smell the rose at the same time. So many beautiful tea cups and flowers. This one is gorgeous and needs no other embelishment. The pink roses seem to go with any of them This next one makes me want a cup of tea There are so many pretty ones I just can't stop........but I must I think I will have some Chamomile tea now. Can't Help Loving Pink............

I just can not help finding these pretty pink things. I will have to do another Pink Saturday post. Its only Monday but here goes.
These are actual things in my house. I got the cushions at garage sales. Can you believe people would do all that work and then practically give them away. Or maybe they inherited them and they did not fit in. Well, I made space for them and added pink to my colour scheme.

The next pictures are not my own, I gather things I like from the web and so if I do inadvertently use your picture without credit I will be glad to remove it or give credit. I can not help but collect pretty pictures to share with everyone. Here are some lovely roses.

Then the beauty of roses and china. I will some day photograph my own china but for now here are some more borrowed treasures.


The little doll is one that I bought, its hand made and is in my lavender bedroom. Isn't she cute?
