I already have a few Facebook pages. One is Bluebell Woods. On that I post pretty pictures. Some are my own but many are what I find in my web browsing. It's a pretty popular page. That shocked me. I have several thousand followers and they often contact me and leave notes. It has been very satisfying for me. I enjoy it.
So, with that in mind I have decided to use some of my own pictures and start another page. I will use my own photos and add a quote of some kind. People seem to like that. For me it's fun and I can get my pictures out there. This is an example of what I have in mind.
I want a place to display them until I decide what I want to do with them. I have a lot of pictures that I think are pretty good. Its a shame to just have them in my picture folder on the computer. If people like them I may get some printed up and maybe sell some. I can do the same maybe with some watercolours. If they get a few followers then I can decide what to do. I may open an Etsy store. I keep saying that but I need to actually get moving in one direction or other
So it's just a thought at the moment. These are the only two I have done so far. I will have to do a few more before I open the page but once I get a few done, then I should be able to keep up and do a few a day after that.
Wish me luck
This part of my blog is all about the things I collect or the things I make myself. I love so many things, I paint and draw and want to learn oils and pastels. I knit and crochet but want to learn tatting. I embroider and can turn my hand to most things given a chance. So much still to learn and do. I live in hope of some day reading all my books, learning all I want to learn and now I am learning to blog. You will often find my original poems, poor as they are I offer them here. I also appreciate other people art and will feature things I find that I have enjoyed. That includes pictures of fairies and fantasy or maybe just anything beautiful.
I try to use my own photo's as much as possible, sometimes I borrow from the web. If I inadvertently use your picture without giving credit, please do let me know and I will either credit or remove it, I hope you will do the same with mine.
If you wish to leave comments on my blog you can do that by joining google if you do not have a blog yourself, please comment if you can I appreciate that.

Leland Blue...................
Our new hobby is collecting Leland Blues. Ultimately I have to learn to do something with them. I do not have (Well I do) a rock tumbler, the small one I got years ago is around but, it just takes so long to get a finish on a stone. The stones I have I actually like raw.
I have some big ones that would need cutting and naturally I do not have the equipment for that either. I do know where to go to get them cut though. First though I must figure out how to use them. I did buy a drill and I know I must do that under water. You know what they say about a little bit of knowledge don't you?.
Well I am going to look for a silver wire jewelry making class. Just need a couple of lessons to get the technique and I will be all set.
Some small stones are pock marked and already have a pleasing shape.
This green stone would be nice just as it is with silver wire to hold it.
Once I learn how I have some really nice shapes. Some other rocks too other than the Leland Blues. Many many Petoskey stones for one thing. I love the colour and shape of this stone.
I think lessons is the first thing on my list before I ruin some nice stones. I am scared to try drilling but will practice on some of the lesser stones. This next one is unusual, its almost white and I am wondering what I can make from that one.
When I die, and people go through my stuff hehe, just wait and see what they say when the encounter some of the odd things I have kept for projects. With luck I can get rid of a lot before anyone sees it all.
